Cutwork Tool: Getting Started
Sat. 1/21 (10 a.m.-Noon) & Sat. 2/4 (1-3 p.m.) :: $40 for both sessions
In the first session we will cover the basics of your Cutwork Software. We will explore the software features and walk you through opening an existing cutwork design and transferring it to your machine. In the second session we will cover fabric preparation, stabilizers and hooping. You will cut and stitch out a cutwork design. (Annette Lagerstrom & Diane Feltman)
Sew-In
Fridays 1/13, 2/10, 3/9 :: 6-10 p.m. :: $10
Join us the second Friday of the month for a night of sewing. Bring whatever you are working on and come prepared to make some progress and make some friends. (Jaime David)
Embroider with Confidence

Vest Class with Jenny Atwood

Join Jenny Atwood author of Sew Vintage and articles for Threads magazine as we learn about working with wool. This will be a hands on class in which participants will learn about pattern, wool choices, construction modifications and embellishing techniques. There will be prep work prior to the class. A vest pattern will be identified and wool choices suggested.
Serging Ahead
Feb. 2/18 :: 10 a.m.-Noon :: $20
Come join a new Serger Group for people who have mastered threading your machine and want to challenge themselves in using the serger. We will meet every other month to explore the creative possibilities of your serger. Learn to use decorative thread, different serger feet and stitches while making useful projects. Cost will vary each class in accordance with the kit fee. All participants will be asked to purchase the book, Ready Set Serge by Georgie Melot, $22.99.
